AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Ashworth Acres Plat 2
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Ashworth Road and west of R-22/Ute Avenue. The public
improvements associated with this plat include the installation of a public water main, public
sanitary sewer, and public storm sewer. Extensions of Serenity Drive, Abbot Drive, and Ashler
Drive will also be completed as part of the improvements. A total of 42 single family lots are
included within the plat area.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: All staff comments have been addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
ASHWORTH ACRES PLAT 2
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Ashworth Acres Plat 2;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 19th day of November, 2018 that the Construction Drawings for Ashworth Acres Plat 2 be
approved.
