AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting December 3, 2018 as the date of
public hearing on the partial vacation of a Public Sanitary Sewer Easement
and Storm Water Management Facility Maintenance Covenant and Permanent
Easement Agreement [Fridley Palms Plat 1]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently approved a final plat for Fridley
Palms Plat 2 which was a replat of a portion of Plat 1 to accommodate a
Culver’s Restaurant. As a part of the development, a public sanitary sewer
easement and storm water detention is being relocated to develop the site.
New easements have been provided as a part of Plat 2 and at least a portion of
the existing sanitary sewer easement and stormwater maintenance covenant
should be vacated. A public hearing is required to vacate a portion of these
two easements.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for December 3, 2018 to discuss the partial vacation of the
easements.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
