AGENDA ITEM: Public Hearing on plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of
cost [Waukee Public Library RTU Replacement Project]
FORMAT: Public Hearing
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The project consists of the replacement of the
existing HVAC roof top unit which is approximately 16 years old and
has had constant maintenance issues over the last several years.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The engineers estimate
on the improvements was $155,000. Funding for these improvements
will come from cash reserves within the General Fund.

RECOMMENDATION: Hold the Public Hearing
