Following approval, City staff discovered an error in the minutes. That error listed Council Member Bottenberg as making the motion to approve the 11/19/2018 Consent Agenda; the motion was actually made by Council Member Bergman. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City staff recommends approval of the correction. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion. (Resolution #18-462) (H) Public Hearings: 1) On an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 to K-RR, a property known as Telby LLC – Mayor Pro Tem Bottenberg opened the public hearing and asked if any written correspondence had been received; City Clerk Schuett replied in the negative. Development Services Director Deets reviewed the rezoning application, including the property location and how it relates to the Kettlestone Master Plan. The subject property was recently annexed by the City; rezoning is contingent upon annexation approval by the City Development Board. No comments were made by the public in attendance. (I) Public Hearing Action Items: 1) Ordinance: Consideration of approval of an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 to K-RR, a property known as Telby LLC [introduction; first reading] – Council Member Lyon introduced the ordinance and moved to approve the first reading in title only; seconded by Council Member Hughes. Results of vote: Ayes: Bergman, Bottenberg, Clarke, Hughes, Lyon. Nays: None. Motion carried 5 – 0.
