AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Fox Creek Estates Plat 9
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Fox Creek Estates Plat 9 include extensions of sanitary
sewer, water main, and storm sewer for a single family residential subdivision that is located
north of NE Douglas Parkway and east of Warrior Lane. In addition to the extension of utilities
the plans identify paving of NE Badger Lane and NE Bobcat Drive.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been
addressed and Staff is confident that the remaining comment will be addressed prior to the
Council meeting. Staff recommends approval subject to remaining staff comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
FOX CREEK ESTATES PLAT 9
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Fox Creek Estates
Plat 9; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 3rd day of January, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Fox Creek
Estates Plat 9 be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
