STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Snyder & Associates, Inc. has reviewed the Hickman Rd &
Dartmoor Dr / Ashworth Rd & LA Grant Parkway Signalization and
Intersection Improvements and find it in general conformance with the
standard specification for the City of Waukee.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HICKMAN RD. (U.S. 6) & DARTMOOR
DR./ASHWORTH RD. & LA GRANT PARKWAY SIGNALIZATION &
INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, on the 9`h day of June, 2015, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with PG Construction of Des Moines, IA, for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Hickman Rd. (U.S. 6) &
Dartmoor Dr./Ashworth Rd. & LA Grant Parkway Signalization & Intersection Improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on December 19,
2016:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
Section 1. That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully
completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final
construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $ 552,828.41, as shown in the report of the
Engineer.
