COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The proposed plan is regional in nature. Although the
plan does not propose any specific projects within the jurisdiction of
Waukee, the goals and recommendations are useful for implementation
into our own City plans including the Comprehensive Plan that is
currently in process. Additionally, the proposed recommendations and
improvements will provide benefits to the residents of Waukee by
creating additional regional attractions within the Des Moines area.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.
