AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of approval of a Motion to set a Public
Hearing Date of March 6, 2017, as the date of public hearing on an
ordinance to amend Chapter 300, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee,
Iowa, by amending Section 301.8(I), Home Occupations.
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: As a follow-up to the discussion held last year
regarding the current requirements for Home Occupations, staff has
prepared several recommended changes to the Home Occupation
Ordinance for Council consideration.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
March 6, 2017 to further discuss the proposed changes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
