AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of approval of a Motion to set a Public
Hearing Date of March 6, 2017, as the date of public hearing on an
ordinance to amend Chapter 300, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee,
Iowa, by amending Section 301.8(P), Temporary Uses – Sale of
Agricultural Products
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has drafted an ordinance to expand upon
the temporary use ordinance currently included within the City Code.
The proposed ordinance would include provisions for other types of
temporary uses such as nurseries and food/drink vendors.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
March 6, 2017 to further discuss the proposed changes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
