AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of receipt and file of the purchase of 2017 Ford Explorer from
Stivers Ford Mercury of Waukee, IA, in the amount of $26,991.00 [Waukee
Parks and Recreation Department]
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On February 9th staff sent out a vehicle specifications
sheet seeking quotes for a 2017 Midsize SUV 4 door vehicle that will
primarily be used for daily staff travel and transportation of participants in
summer recreation programs. Quote sheets were sent to Stivers Ford Waukee
and Shottenkirk Chevrolet of Waukee. On Thursday February 23rd at 2:00 one
quote was received from Stivers Ford in the amount of $26,991. Upon
approval staff will be placing the 2007 Ford Explorer on GovDeals.com for
sale. This vehicle replacement was budgeted for in the current fiscal year.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $26,991.00
