HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-03-06-J01Q Daybreak Plat 2 Rezoning_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: March 6, 2017 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting March 20, 2017, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain property therein from R-1 (Single Family Residential District) to R-2 (One and Two Family Residential District) [Daybreak Plat 2] FORMAT: Consent SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The applicant, Daybreak Waukee, LLC, has requested the City consider rezoning approximately 22.20 acres from R-1 Single Family Residential District to R-2 One and Two Family Residential District. The property is located north of Ashworth Road and west of R-22/Ute Avenue. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public hearing date for March 20, 2017 to discuss this matter further.
