HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-03-06-J06 FY2018 Library Comp Plan AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: June 20, 2016 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution establishing the FY2018 compensation plan for Waukee Public Library employees FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On January 10, 2017, the Waukee Library Board of Trustees approved a revised compensation plan for the Waukee Public Library. The compensation plan was created after review of the current compensation plan for internal equity and after a survey of other city organization comparable in population and/or proximity to the City of Waukee. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The Human Resource Director recommends approval of the FY18 Compensation plan for the Waukee Public Library. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY: Patricia Brown Holden REVIEWED BY: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 17- ESTABLISHING FY2018 COMPENSATION PLAN FOR WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY EMPLOYEES IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND, WHEREAS, the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees has reviewed and approved the FY2018 compensation plan for Waukee Public Library employees; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 6th day of March, 2017, that the FY2018 compensation plan for Waukee Public Library employees, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved. ____________________________ William F.
