[Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Bridge Replacement Project]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Bridge
Replacement Project includes purchase and installation of a 60 foot
prefabricated pedestrian bridge and pre-cast footings, approximately 400
cubic yards of grading, 200 tons of class D rip-rap, concrete pads, golf cart
path adjustments and other associated work. All necessary DNR permits have
been received for the project. City staff will be providing the necessary paper
work to FEMA as a part of the appeals process at the completion of the bridge
project for possible reimbursement.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of
cost are on file with the City Clerk for review.
RECOMMENDATION: Hold Public Hearing.

Public Hearing on Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for Repair or
Improvement. A public hearing will be held by the City of Waukee on the proposed contract
documents (plans, specifications and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement
at its meeting at 5:30 PM on March 20, 2017, at 230 W Hickman Road, Waukee, IA 50263.
Time and Place for Filing Sealed Proposals. Sealed bids for the work comprising the
repair & improvement as stated below must be filed before 2:00 PM on March 15, 2017, in the
office of the City Clerk, 230 W Hickman Road, Waukee, IA 50263.
Project Description: The construction includes purchase and installation of a
