AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Fireworks Display Permit for Waukee
Festivals/Celebrate Waukee for Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Centennial
Park
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: J & M Displays will detonate the display in
Centennial Park as part of the Celebrate Waukee festivities.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The permit fee is
waived as part of the City’s financial contribution to the event.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City staff recommends approval of the application.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the application.

application that he/she has the necessary knowledge and experience to explode fireworks.
