project improvements and find it in general conformance with the standard
specification for the City of Waukee.

RESOLUTION 17-
ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
[SOUTH OUTFALL SEWER TREE FELLING PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, J&K Contracting, LLC, of Ames, IA, has completed the public
improvements associated with the South Outfall Sewer Tree Felling Project; AND,
WHEREAS, City Engineers have reviewed the improvements constructed as part of the
South Outfall Sewer Tree Felling Project and confirm that said improvements constructed
as a part of this project are in general conformance with the Standard Specifications of
the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3`d day of April, 2017, that it hereby accepts the public improvements
associated with the South Outfall Sewer Tree Felling Project.

We hereby certify that we have made an on -site review of
the construction of the South Outfall Sewer Tree Felling
project as performed by J&K Contracting, LLC.
As Engineers for the project, it is our opinion that the
work performed is in substantial accordance with the
plans and specifications and that the final amount of the
Contract is Twenty -Eight Thousand Five Hundred and
00/100 Dollars ($28,500.00).
