SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The change order is to compensate the Contractor for items related to
installing 24" sewer in open cut in lieu of auguring in steel casing across
the Taggart property.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order decreases the contract price by $6,870.00.

CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
Enclosed are three copies of Change Order No. 1 for the Southwest Area Trunk Sewer
Extension project under the contract between the City of Waukee and Pohlmeier
Construction, Inc.
Change Order No. 1 is to compensate the Contractor for items related to installing 24"
sewer in open cut in lieu of augering in steel casing across the Taggart property.
Change Order No. 1 decreases the contract price by a total of $6,870.00. Veenstra &
Kimm, Inc. recommends approval of Change Order No. 1.
Please sign all copies of Change Order No. 1 in the spaces provided. Return one signed
copy of Change Order No. 1 to our office and one signed copy to Pohlmeier Construction,
Inc.
