Since approval, some revisions are recommended; those revisions are shown in red in the proposed resolution exhibit. Proposed Resolution, including FY2017-2018 Schedule of Fees PREPARED BY: Becky Schuett REVIEWED BY: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 17- ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE FY2017-2018 FEE SCHEDULE (REVISED) IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND, WHEREAS, as part of the budget review and adoption process, a Fee Schedule for services provided by the City of Waukee was approved by the Waukee City Council on March 6, 2017 (Resolution #17-119); AND, WHEREAS, City staff recommends the addition of fees related to temporary uses [Development Services, Building Fees] and certain water meters [Public Works Department, Water Meters and Appurtenances Fees] to the FY2017-2018 Fee Schedule; AND, WHEREAS, City staff also recommends the deletion of the agricultural uses fee [Development Services, Building Fees]; AND, WHEREAS, the revised FY2017-2018 Fee Schedule is attached hereto as Exhibit A. Any usage outside the Monday through Thursday timeline will be subject to rental rates. To be considered a non-profit group of Waukee, the organization must be a 501(c)(3) corporation duly formed and existing pursuant to the State of Iowa which maintains its principal place of business in the City of Waukee, Iowa, or if a group is a Waukee senior group (members age 62 or older) consisting of no less than 20 members who are residents of the City of Waukee. Weekend shelter rentals can be reserved six months in advance from the reservation date. Weekday shelter rentals can also be reserved in advance; however reservations are not accepted until after March 1st for the months of March – July and after August 1st for the months of August – February. Centennial Park: Ridge Pointe Park Pavilion: * Cancellations require notice of 10 business days. Refunds will be issued by check or will be credited back onto the credit card used to reserve the facility. A $5.00 nonrefundable handling fee will be deducted from the refund. If ball field reservations are cancelled in the event of rain, all attempts will be made to reschedule.
