AWARDING QUOTE [SOUTHFORK DAM OUTLET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
That the following quote for certain public improvements described in general as the
Southfork Dam Outlet Improvement Project and described in the Request for Quotes that was
provided to vendors be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest responsible quote
received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: J & K Contracting, LLC, of Ames, IA
Amount of quote: $64,000.00
PASSED AND APPROVED, this 17°i day of April, 2017.

SOUTHFORK DAM OUTLET IMPROVEMENTS
RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD CONTRACT
The City of Waukee received bids until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 for the
Southfork Dam Outlet Improvements project. A total of one bid was received as follows:
Contractor
J&K Contracting, LLC
Total Bid
$64,000.00
The Engineer's Estimate of cost for the construction of the project was $69,336.00. We
recommend the City of Waukee award the contract to J&K Contracting, LLC in the amount
of $64,000.00 for the Southfork Dam Outlet Improvements project.
