AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting May 30, 2017 as the date of
public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance,
City of Waukee, Iowa regarding Temporary Uses
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently adopted an ordinance to the
City’s temporary uses ordinance. The proposed amendment includes the
addition of a section to provide guidance for approval of uses other than what
is currently specified within the ordinance.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing be set for May 30,
2017 to further discuss the proposed amendment to the Ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Motion
