AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting June 19, 2017 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [Ruan Property]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition from the Ruan Family
regarding the annexation of property that is located west of R-22/Ute Avenue
and south of Interstate 80.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
June 19, 2017 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
