SE ESKER RIDGE DRIVE
GRAND PRAIRIE PARKWAY TO SE GLACIER TRAIL
WAUKEE, IOWA
RISE PROJECT NO. RM-8177(620)--9D-25
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Council Chamber
in City Hall, 230 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. At said hearing, any interested
person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements.
This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the SE Esker Ridge Drive improvements from Grand Prairie Parkway to SE Glacier Trail in
Waukee, generally described as follows:
Construct the SE Esker Ridge Drive including all materials, labor and equipment
necessary for installation of approximately: 45,000 CY of excavation, 6,190 SY of
subgrade preparation, 5,650 SY of PCC paving, 80 SY of PCC sidewalk and shared
use path, 1,300 LF of water main, 1900 LF of sewer, 15 EA sewer structures, 1 EA
flared end sections, 1200 LF of subdrain, pavement markings, erosion control,
surface restoration and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances.
