Excavating Solutions, for the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Bridge
Replacement Project in the amount of $104,174.53
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Payment Estimate No. 1 (Final) to RW Excavating
Solutions is for mobilization, asphalt millings, rip rap (class D), 60 foot
prefabricated truss bridge, precast bridge abutments, and site restoration. The
quantities completed to date have been reviewed and agreed upon by the
contractor, City of Waukee Staff, and Bolton & Menk. This project was
completed in three weeks from start to finish.

Dear Mr. Jermier :
Submitted for your approval is partial Pay Application 1. This is for the work completed for the bridge
replacement at the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course. The pay application is for $109,657.40 minus the
5% retainage of $5,482.87 for a total of $104,174.53. Please see Pay Application 1 for a full summary of
the payment.
Bolton & Menk, Inc. recommends the approval of Pay Application 1. Please let me know if you have any
