AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Daybreak Plat 2
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Daybreak Plat 2 include extensions of sanitary sewer,
water main, and storm sewer for a single family residential subdivision that is located north of
Ashworth Road and west of Ute Ave/R-22. In addition to the extension of utilities the plans
identify an extension of Daybreak Drive, and pavement of three new streets.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time all staff comments have been addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
DAYBREAK PLAT 2
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Daybreak Plat 2;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 19th day of June, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Daybreak Plat 2
be approved.
