appointment of a citizen member to the Park Board for an unexpired term

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Park Board Member Brian Hughes is unable to fulfill
his term scheduled to expire January 31, 2020.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING MAYORAL APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE PARK
BOARD FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JANUARY 31, 2020
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Library Board of Trustees member Brian Hughes is unable to complete his term,
scheduled to expire January 31, 2020; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard appoints _______________ to fill the unexpired term of
Brian Hughes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
19th day of June, 2016, that the mayor’s appointment of _________ to the Waukee Park Board
for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2020, is hereby approved.
