AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of an ordinance to amend Chapter 502, Waukee
Municipal Code, regulations of the City of Waukee Iowa, by adding to
Section 502 "Parking Regulations" [introduction; first, second, third (final)
readings]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Residents living within the Cari Circle cul-de-sac have
requested to have the no parking ordinance changed to include no parking at
any time on the east side of Cari Circle to prevent non-residents and park
goers from using the cul-de-sac as a parking lot.

ORDINANCE NO. 17-
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502, WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA, BY ADDING TO
SECTION 502 "PARKING REGULATIONS," A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that a certain public street should be added
to the no parking ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.2 is
hereby amended as follows:
§502.2 No parking is permitted at any time on the east side of the following north -
south streets:
Cari Circle
Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
