FORMAT: Proclamation
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Mayor Peard will present a proclamation and Key to the
City to Kirk Tyler of Atlantic Bottling Company in recognition of their
past partnerships with the City.

RECOMMENDATION: The Mayor shall present the proclamation and key to Mr. Tyler.

PROCLAMATION
IN RECOGNITION OF
ATLANTIC BOTTLING COMPANY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, Atlantic Bottling Company, a business with more than 100 years of
history, has been a fixture in Waukee since relocating their operations from Des
Moines in 1989; AND,
WHEREAS, due to their continuing business success and resulting growth,
Atlantic Bottling Company will make the move back to Des Moines and a larger
facility; AND,
WHEREAS, Atlantic Bottling Company, led by the Tyler family since its very
beginnings as an ice cream and ice business, has been a true and valued friend of the
City of Waukee, the Waukee Community School District, and the Waukee business
community; AND,
WHEREAS, Waukee is fortunate and honored to have had Atlantic Bottling
Company as a professional partner for the last 28 years.
NOW THEREFORE, I, William F. Peard, Mayor of Waukee, do hereby sincerely
thank Atlantic Bottling Company for all they have done for the Waukee community
and wish them continued success in the future.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have
hereunto subscribed my name and caused the
Great Seal of the City of Waukee to be affixed
this July 24, 2017.
