Notice of Hearing and Letting PREPARED BY: Beth Richardson, REVIEWED BY: John Gibson PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION — NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LITTLE WALNUT CREEK DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on August 28, 2017 at the Council Chamber in City Hall, 230 West Hickman Road, Waukee, Iowa 50263. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the LITTLE WALNUT CREEK DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS, WAUKEE, IOWA, generally described as follows: The construction includes approximately 17,870 SY of 4" HMA pavement, 10,480 SY of subgrade preparation, 10,480 SY of granular subbase, 1,000 SY of driveway pavement, 2 culvert drainage structures removal and replacement, 3,000 LF of gravel by-pass roadway, roadway ditch grading, site restoration, survey, traffic control, and other associated work.
