AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Spring Crest Plat 1
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Spring Crest Plat 1 include extensions of sanitary
sewer, water main, and storm sewer for a 12 lot single family residential subdivision that is
located south of Hickman Road and west of Cedar Street and Spruce Street. In addition to the
extension of utilities the plans identify short extensions of Spruce Street and Cedar Street.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been
addressed and Staff is confident that the remaining comment will be addressed prior to the
Council meeting. Staff recommends approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
SPRING CREST PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Spring Crest Plat 1;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 24th day of January, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Spring Crest
Plat 1 be approved.
