Last year the City participated by providing funds in the amount of $9,000 to Habitat to Humanity to help towards the rehab of three homes within the Midwest Country Estates Mobile Home Park. The property owners’ incomes are less than 60% of the median county income making them eligible for the City’s Low To Moderate Income (LMI) funds. The City’s bond counsel advises that the funds can be used for this purpose as long as the DCHFH verifies that the benefitted property owners qualify as being Low To Moderate Income. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $5,898.20 COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City bond counsel has provided the proposed resolution approving the disbursement of funds. Staff would recommend approval of the resolution. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Proposed Resolution II.
