AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Spring Crest Plat 2
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The public improvements associated with Spring Crest Plat 2 include extensions of sanitary
sewer, storm sewer and water main for a 32 lot single family residential development that is
located west of Cedar and Spruce Streets and south of Hickman Road. In addition to utility
extensions the plans identify the extensions of Cedar Street, Spruce Street, and 10th Street. This is
the second phase of the Spring Crest Development which is 93 acres overall.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time all staff comments have been addressed.
Staff recommends approval.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
SPRING CREST PLAT 2
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Spring Crest Plat 2;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 21st day of August, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Spring Crest
Plat 2 be approved.
