Home My WebLink About2017-08-21-J01Z Clayton Estates Plat 2_CDs AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: August 21, 2017 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction drawings for Clayton Estates Plat 2 FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The public improvements associated with Clayton Estates Plat 2 include extensions of sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main for a 75 lot single family residential development that is located west of 6th Street and south of Northview Drive. In addition to utility extensions the plans identify the extensions of Waukee Avenue, Gray Avenue, 8th Street, and 9th Street. A turn lane on 6th Street will also be constructed for right turns off of 6th Street. This is the second and final phase of the Clayton Estates Development which is 38 acres overall. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time all staff comments have been addressed. Staff recommends approval. Project Area Identification Map PREPARED BY: Andy Kass, Senior Planner REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 17- APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR CLAYTON ESTATES PLAT 2 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Clayton Estates Plat 2; AND, WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on this 21st day of August, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Clayton Estates Plat 2 be approved. ____________________________ William F.
