Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY: Brad Deets, Development Services Director REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 17 APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC WATER MAIN EASEMENT ACROSS LOTS 1-5 OF WAUKEE VISTA COMMERCIAL PARK IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, a Water Main Easement (“Easement”) was approved as a part of the final plat for Waukee Vista Commercial Park and recorded in Book 2006 Page 19691 within Dallas County, Iowa to allow for the future construction of a public water main; AND, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the easement is not needed; AND, WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the easement as described on attached Exhibit A be vacated. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 5th day of September, 2017, that it hereby approves the vacation of the Water Main Easement across Lots 1-5 of Waukee Vista Commercial Park. ____________________________ William F.
