HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-09-05-J01L Phillips-Hamilton Easement Vacation_Set PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: September 5, 2017 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Motion setting September 18, 2017, as the date of public hearing on the vacation of the original sanitary sewer easement related the Northwest Area Trunk Sewer Extension – Phases 2 and 3/Copeland Trunk Sewer – Phase 1 [Phillips-Hamilton, Inc.] FORMAT: Motion SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: A revised easement was approved for the construction of the gravity sanitary sewer main for the Northwest Area Trunk Sewer Extension – Phases 2 and 3/Copeland Trunk Sewer – Phase 1. Adjustment to the easement was necessary to accommodate the revised location the Spring Crest Plat 2 sanitary sewer main will be connecting to this project’s sanitary sewer main. The original easement is no longer necessary therefore staff is recommending vacating the original easement. A public hearing is required to be set prior to vacation of the easement. YOU ARE FURTHER AND SPECIFICALLY NOTIFIED that at the time and place aforesaid all persons will have opportunity to be heard for or against said agreement.
