AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Partial Payment Estimate No. 3 to Absolute
Concrete Construction, Inc. for the SE Esker Ridge Drive Grand Prairie
Parkway to SE Glacier Trail Project in the amount by $117,499.04.

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Absolute Concrete Construction, Inc. has requested
Payment Estimate No. 3 for the work completed on the SE Esker Ridge
Drive Grand Prairie Parkway to SE Glacier Trail Project in the amount of
$117,499.04. Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC has reviewed
the payment estimate and recommends payment.
Partial Payment No.3 is for work completed from August 1, 2017 to
August 31, 2017.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COSTBENEFIT ANALYSIS: $117,499.04.

Attached please find a detailed Pay Request for City Council approval on September 18, 2017
Submitted Quantity
• 6190 SY of Item 2.1, Subgrade Prep
• 758.90 CY of Item 2.4, Modified Subbase
• 0.3 LS of Item 4.10, Video Inspection of Sanitary and Storm Sewer
• 1786 SY of Item 7.1, PCC Pavement 8"
• 0.17 LS of Item 9.4, SWPPP Management
• 455 LF of Item 9.5, Silt Fence Installation
We have reviewed the submitted quantities and they appear to be in order with what has been constructed
in the field. If City Staff concurs with this payment, we recommend the City of Waukee pay Absolute
Concrete of Slater, Iowa in the amount of $117,499.04 for the work completed to date.
