Project increasing the contract in the amount by $5,940.63

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The change order is to for:
• Additional payment for Item I Traffic Signalization
o To change the battery backup system to Zinc Five's Upstealth
• Additiona payment for Item 2 Lighting
o All I" conduit will be installed as 2" conduit for the lighting
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COSTBENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price by $5,940.63,

Dear Mr. Gibson:
Attached please find a detailed Change Order for City Council approval on September 18, 2017.
Change Description
• Additional payment for Item 1 Traffic Signalization.
o To change the battery backup system to Zinc Five's Upstealth.
• Additional payment for Item 2 Lighting.
o All 1" conduit will be installed as 2" conduit for the lighting.
We have reviewed the submitted quote from Iowa Signal, Inc. and it appears to be in order with current
industry pricing. If City Staff concurs with this pricing, we recommend the City of Waukee Increase the
contract price in the amount of $5,940.63 to complete the additional work associated with Change Order
#01.
