AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting October 16, 2017 as the date of
public hearing on the annexation of consenting properties by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [Collins Property]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition for the annexation of property
owned by Robert and Carolyn Collins located ¼ mile north of 300th Street on
the east side of R-16.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
October 16, 2017 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
