appointment of a citizen member to the Planning and Zoning Commission
for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2020

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Planning & Zoning Commissioner Stormy Shanks is
unable to fulfill her term scheduled to expire January 31, 2020.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING MAYORAL APPOINTMENT OF A CITIZEN MEMBER TO THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION FOR AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING
JANUARY 31, 2020
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Planning and Zoning Commissioner Stormy Shanks is unable to complete her
term, scheduled to expire January 31, 2020; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard appoints __________ to fill the unexpired term of Stormy
Shanks.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
18th day of September, 2017, that the mayor’s appointment of ________ to the Planning and
Zoning Commission for an unexpired term ending January 31, 2020, is hereby approved.
