SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The change order is to for raising the newly installed
force main to accommodate the future Indi Run gravity sewer crossing.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price by $3,750.00.

LITTLE WALNUT CREEK REGIONAL LIFT STATION EXPANSION
CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 AND PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 6
Enclosed are three signed copies each of Change Order No. 2 and Partial Payment No. 6 in
accordance with the contract between the City of Waukee and Synergy Contracting LLC for the
Little Walnut Creek Regional Lift Station Expansion project.
Change Order No. 2 is for raising the newly installed force main to accommodate the future Indi
Run gravity sewer crossing. Partial Payment No. 6 is for the installation of new pumps, generator
and control building at the lift station.
Change Order No. 2 will increase the price for the Little Walnut Creek Regional Lift Station
Expansion project by a total of $3,750.00. We recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 by the
City Council of the City of Waukee.
We also recommend payment by the City Council of the City of Waukee to Synergy Contracting
LLC in the amount of $361,174.19, As per the Bond, all payments relating to this project should be
directed to Northern Escrow, Inc., 1276 So. Robert St., West St. Paul, MN 55118.
Please execute all copies of Change Order No. 2 and Partial Payment No. 6 in the spaces
provided. Return one copy to Veenstra & Kimm, Inc., forward one copy to Synergy Contracting
LLC with payment, and retain one copy for your files.
