AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Easements associated
with Waukee Vista Commercial Park
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City has previously approved plans for the
construction of a retail building just east of the Sherwin Williams store along
Hickman Road. As a part of the development of the property, it has been
determined that a public utility easement and storm water management
covenant are necessary related to the development of the property.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING EASEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH WAUKEE VISTA
COMMERCIAL PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City has previously approved the final plat for Waukee Vista Commercial Park;
AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional easements including a Public Utility
Easement and Storm Water Management Maintenance Facility Covenant and Permanent
Easement are necessary on the property related to the development of 100 E. Hickman Road
(Lots 4 and 5 of Waukee Vista Commercial Park).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
2nd day of October, 2017, that it hereby approves the additional easements related to Waukee
Vista Commercial Park.
