HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-11-20-H03 Legacy Pointe Easement Vacation PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: November 20, 2017 AGENDA ITEM: A public hearing on the vacation of a public utility easement and access easement [Legacy Pointe Plat 7] FORMAT: Public Hearing SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council has recently approved plans for a proposed townhome project within the Legacy Pointe Development and located just south of Hickman Road. The property owner had previously provided a public utility easement and two access easements related to the future development of the property. Based upon the new townhome proposal, a portion of these existing easements are being proposed to be vacated. The developer has provided new easements for public utilities as well as access based upon the newly configured site plan. In order to dispose of the easements, the City Council needs to hold a public hearing on the vacation.
