AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of approval of a Motion to set a Public
Hearing Date of December 4, 2017, as the date of public hearing on an
ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee,
Iowa, by rezoning certain property from R-4 to C-1 (Deery Brothers
Waukee Development)
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of
approximately 3.24 acres from R-4 Row Dwelling & Townhome District
to C-1 Community & Highway Service Commercial District. The subject
property is located south of Hickman Road and west of 10th Street.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
December 4, 2017 to further discuss the proposed changes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
