AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Painted Woods West Plat 3
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Interstate 80 and west of R-22/Ute Avenue. The public
improvements associated with this plat include sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water main
extensions. Additional improvements include extensions of Indian Ridge Drive, Bison Trail,
Chestnut Drive, Fieldstone Drive and Scout Trail.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: At this time a majority of staff comments have been
addressed and Staff is working with the applicant to get the last few minor comments addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 17-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
PAINTED WOODS WEST PLAT 3
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted to the City for Painted Woods West
Plat 3; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and
City staff, and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land
Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 18th day of December, 2017 that the Construction Drawings for Painted
Woods West Plat 3 be approved subject to remaining staff comments.
