AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving the mayor’s
appointment of a representative and alternate to the Walnut Creek
Watershed Management Authority Board of Directors for the Year 2016

Authority allows for a representative and alternate to be appointed to the
Board of Directors:

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF A REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE TO THE WALNUT CREEK WATERSHED MANAGEMENT
AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE YEAR 2016
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, on February 18, 2014, the Waukee City Council approved entering into a
28E agreement related to the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority
(Resolution #14-049); AND,
WHEREAS, according to the provisions of the 28E agreement, the City may appoint a
representative and an alternate to the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority
Board of Directors;
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard appoints ___________________ as the
representative and _____________ as the alternate to the Walnut Creek Watershed
Management Authority Board of Directors for calendar year 2016.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of January, 2016, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointments to
the Walnut Creek Watershed Management Authority Board of Directors.
