AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving mayor’s
appointment of the City of Waukee primary and alternate members to the
Polk County E-911 Commission for the Year 2016

appointments consist of a primary and alternate member.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The Mayor will announce his appointments during the
Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the appointment.

RESOLUTION 16-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE
PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE POLK COUNTY E-911
COMMISSION FOR THE YEAR 2016
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, as the City of Waukee is a member of Westcom, it is necessary for the Mayor to
appoint a primary and alternate member to the Polk County E-911 Commission; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor William F. Peard appoints ______________ as the City of Waukee
primary member and _______________ as alternate member to the Polk County E-911
Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 6th day of January, 2016, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointment of members to
the Polk County E-911 Commission.
