AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting March 7, 2016, as the date
of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning
Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain
property therein to modify PD-1 (Planned Development Overlay District)
[Legacy Pointe at Waukee Plat 1]
FORMAT: Ordinance
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The owner of the property generally located at the
intersection of SE Legacy Pointe Boulevard and Hickman Road is
requesting a modification to the existing Planned Development Overlay
on approximately 2.93 acres to allow for the addition of townhomes
within the planned development.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for March 7, 2016 to discuss this matter further.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
