MEETING DATE: February 16, 2016
AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of setting March 7, 2016 as the date of public
hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City
of Waukee, Iowa by amending Chapter 301.4, Establishment of Districts:
Provisions for Official Zoning Map, by repealing said section and
enacting in lieu thereof the re-adoption of the Official Zoning Map.
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The last official zoning map was approved by
the City Council on June 6, 2011. Since that time several changes have
occurred within the City related to specific zoning requests.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
March 7, 2016 to further discuss the new official zoning map.
RECOMMENDATION: Set the Public Hearing Date.
