AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting March 21, 2016, as the
date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning
Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning and changing certain
property therein to modify PD-1 (Planned Development Overlay District)
[Williams Pointe Plat 15]
FORMAT: Ordinance
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The owner of the property generally located at the
intersection of SE Alice’s Road and SE University Avenue is requesting
a modification to the existing Planned Development Overlay on
approximately 1.03 acres to allow for the addition of automobile service
and repair within the planned development.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of setting the public
hearing date for March 21, 2016 to discuss this matter further.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
