SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Lift Station Project Engineer is in negotiations
with the Contractor on the price of the trenchless pipe work. Staff will
present the final Change Order amount to the Council at the meeting.

Dear John:
Please find enclosed Change Order #1 for the Bluestem Lift Station #14.
In review of the bid, J and K Contracting was able to find three line items to offer a
price reduction to the city. No changes will be made to the plans or specifications to
achieve this reduction.
We recommend approval of Change Order #1, resulting in a deduct in total contract
price of fourteen thousand three hundred ten dollars and no cents ($14,310.00).
Approval of this Change Order will bring the total contract price to nine hundred fifty-
four thousand seven hundred ninety-eight dollars and eighty cents ($954,798.80)
