Grand Prairie Parkway & Esker Ridge Intersection Improvements
decreasing the contract in the amount of $1,500.00

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The change order is for:
Retainage being withheld due to grading not being completed on the punch list and
reseeding needing to be completed
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COSTBENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
change order decreases the contract by $1,500.00.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the consent agenda.

Grand Prairie Parkway & Esker Ridge Intersection Improvements
Dear Mr. Gibson
Attached please find a detailed Change Order for City Council approval on March 11, 2016
Change Description
• Retainage being withheld due to grading not being completed on the punch list and reseeding
needing to be completed.
We have reviewed the work completed by Manatts, Inc. along with their subcontractors and grading still
needs to be completed so water will no longer pond on the north curb lines of Esker Ridge. If City Staff
concurs, we recommend the City of Waukee decrease the contract price in the amount of $1,500.00 to
account for the remaining work that will need to be performed by the City to complete the project.
