AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of waiver and consent with Ahlers & Cooney,
P.C.
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: City Bond Counsel Ahlers & Cooney, P.C., has made
the City aware of a possible conflict of interest due to existing client
relationships with both the City and the Waukee Community School
District. As such, Ahlers & Cooney requires both parties waive and
consent to potential conflicts of interest associated with their
representation of both parties.
The Waukee Community School District approved the waiver and
consent on March 21, 2016.

COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: City staff recommends approving the waiver and
consent.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the waiver and consent.
